My domain expired and didn't renew after over 6 years being a customer, they wanted to charge an extortionate 120 euro fee to restore the domain, terrible service

An IEDR (IE Registry) redemption fee is a charge of €60 + VAT for .ie domain names that have expired and entered the 30-day redemption period after the 45-day grace period has passed. This fee is in addition to the normal renewal fee and is intended to recover a domain name that has been allowed to expire.
The IEDR added this fee earlier this year and we cannot remove it. It was not our choice to charge a redemption fee for .ie domains, but instead the registry itself.
The same Redemption fee is applied to late .com/net domains as well, this is imposed by verisign, the registry for this domain name.
Quick and effective
I was speaking with Duncan and another member of the sales team who were very helpful and sorted my query out promptly with no isses.

Great Customer Service
Just came off a call with Warren from the technical team. He was very personable and professional and helped me with the technical issues I was experiencing. He was very efficient and really cared that everything was working well before I left the call. Thanks Warren great to have my issues resolved!!

Great customer service
I had an issue transferring ownership of a domain from one person to another. Yusuf made the process very straightforward. I would highly recommend using register365.

Have contacted them twice in the last week about info I needed re my account, it was my issue I couldn’t find what I was looking for and both gentlemen who helped me access what I needed were very courteous, patient and super helpful . I’ve been using register365 since I started my business this past year and have found them to be extremely efficient, it does the job for what my business requires.

Stay Well Clear of this Business
Not only the worst experience of a website company but our booking software was out of action for 5 months. When the business launched no clients could book in and the company could not trade. Eventually register 365 just gave up and closed the support ticket. Stay well clear.

Helpful Advice, Rather Than Sales Pitch
I was moving from an older Register365 hosting package to a more modern one. The renewal was coming up on the older one, and I was in two minds whether I still needed to retain it for insurance. I spoke with Yosuf and he made it clear that it was no longer necessary and I could safely let the old plan expire and not renew it. Yosuf had a look at both plans and put my concerns to rest, saved me a renewal fee and increased my trust for this company.
