Booked a deep clean for an elderly relative who isn’t able to do the cleaning now. And I am very impressed with the results girls arrived with all their tools were very friendly and polite done tiles in kitchen and bathroom and have them looking like new again also gave the carpets a clean. The girls worked very hard and managed to reach and clean the places we all forget about. My relative was very impressed which isn’t easy and would have the girls out again. Couldn’t recommend sparkle sparkle enough.

Failed to complete around half of the deep-clean services advertised. When presented with photographic evidence refused to even partially refund.
On checking of other reviews realised this is a recurrent problem.
Recommend business owners 1/ Vet their cleaners (and their ongoing performance/reviews) more thoroughly, 2/ Take customer complaints more seriously and 3/ Cease misquoting/misrepresenting the consumer rights act in order to attempt to avoid legally required repayment for incomplete or unsatisfactory work.
It is due to these failures and misrepresentations that this company is now being taken to court.

Avoid this company! I am being forced to take them to the small claims court after they did a substandard cleaning job that I paid them £272 for, for an after builder clean and carpet shampooing. They did indeed shampoo the carpets and cleaned some of the house but didn't clean any floors, wall shelves, walls, doors/skirting. They left wall shelves in every room laden with dust and refused to refund part of the cost. I was reasonable and was willing to pay for 3 hours of their time and the carpets but they insisted no refunds and that they would only come back to finish the job. I couldn't physically give them access to my home due to work/study and social commitments and then they tried to blame me for 'refusing to let them finish'. They said they would come out at unsociable hours or when they were off duty to do it and I said absolutely not as that would mean me giving access when i'm either sleeping or working/studying at home after the working day. I had to remind them that the job should have been done correctly on the day it had been scheduled (we had been living in a hotel for weeks and were getting the cleaning done in order to move back in after building works). I couldn't give them day time access for another 4 weeks from last speaking to them and obviously I'm not going to sit and sneeze and have to live in an unclean home during that time and will inevitable clean it all myself - as many other reviewers have been forced to do. They have tried to throw parts of the consumer rights act at me but i don't think they've actually read it themselves as it states that you are legally allowed to ask for a refund. I attempted to engaged in dispute management with them to resolve this and they have not responded since then, so I am willing to take this to court, due to the amount of other people reviewing who have had this happen to them. Any legitamite and law abiding company will offer refunds, so this poses alot of questions.

The 2 ladies that came to do the deep clean were very friendly and had good banter.

We asked for a deep clean of - Rooms: Kitchen - 1, Bathroom - 1, Bedroom - 1
Add-ons: Inside kitchen cupboards, Inside oven, Inside Washing Machine, Inside Dishwasher, Inside Microwave, Blinds x2, Tiles x2, Inside Bedroom Wardrobe.

This cost was £355 total.

The 2 woman were here for just slightly over 3 hours completing the work.

Inside of cupboards, a lot were missed. Shelves in bedroom still covered in dust.
The oven was not touched or cleaned at all.
Lots of surface areas still had not been cleaned.

Overall, we will have to clean it again, however, it was a helpful start for us. I don’t think £355 can justify the “deep clean”. I feel like it was a general tidy up / clean we got instead of a deep clean.

I did read the reviews before hand and they were mixed, so thought I’d give this company a try.

Would I use this company again? No
Would I recommend for a deep clean? No

Cleaners caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage to my flat. A cleaner stood in the sink trying to reach something, broke a pipe and flooded my flat and my downstairs neighbours. They refused to compensate for the repairs or damages or even reimburse the fee for cleaning. Please avoid, they are terrible.

Had the sparkle ladies out for a deep clean and I'm over the moon. Very professional and friendly bunch would definitely recommend

I never give a bad review to anyone ever but this was something where the company workers not only did a bad job but also stole money from the house and on confronting about their service/ work shouted and misbehaved.

I have to re write it in reply of sparkle sparkle reply to my review.
1- the heating was on and the windows were open all the time.
2- you never offered to redo it. Instead asked me to email all the pics to an email address of gmail account (Scottishcleaners732) which I did but no one bothered to answer.
3- the money was for charity so I never asked for it from you. Just informed you that it’s missing and ask your workers. Or I’ll call the police.
4- I have video evidence and photos which I sent you of their work so stop lying. And the photos were sent to you immediately of their work. The next day I sent you a video of couches and carpet before getting it redone. It’s all on the messages which proves the day and time.
So don’t try to act smart and deny it.
5- I would never ever ask for money back and if it was money thing I would never have paid.
6- paid them as it was the company’s money not for their personal services. And my daughter heard the lady speaking to someone over phone saying yes we got the money and after that she came in and started all the drama. So clearly they were instructed that if you are being paid then leave after misbehaving and shouting.
7- who ever was messaging me asked me to email all the pics to their manager and complain. No one contacted or emailed me back.
8-you picked the mop thing up only but never mentioned rest of the complaints.
9- your own worker who was doing the mop was complaining about it. And I offered her to use my mop which she didn’t bother to.
10- I have the outside cctv footage which I sent you. And in response you wanted the sound.
Stop fooling around people. If you have a manager she should have called back or contacted which she never bothered showing how serious you take your business or care about customers.
Asked for manager’s number but was told that can’t be given personal number. Ok so your manager does not have a work number???
Apparently you have only one mobile number and is used by the whole company ??
Stop trying to make fool out of your customers and try to put your smartness in your services and customers services.
And don’t give me that attitude that we won’t be assisting you any further etc.
I won’t be letting anyone like yous enter my home ever.
And now put the case to court with all the evidences of time and pics and your conversations through messages.
Waited for this long to hear a response from your so called manager and eventually got a response but to my review not my complaint through email.
And I’m not the first person who has these complaints. Saw people’s reviews but unfortunately only after getting robbed

Very happy with my clean. They did a fantastic job for me.

Hired for End of tenancy cleaning, results did not meet professional standards. Skirting boards and woodwork left dirty, streak marks on surfaces and windows, carpets poorly hovered with. Ended up having to pay for another company to finish the cleaning job and was not refunded at all. Not recommended for end of tenancy.

Everywhere was cleaned properly except for the bathroom, floor wasn't moped properly and toilet pan could have done with a better clean

Appalling. Very very poor quality and no response to ongoing communications from me afterwards. I ordered a deep clean for my sick fathers house. What a total rip off...don't believe the words on their website as thst is NOT what happens in practice! And the cleaners got uppity when my friend tried to point out he problems AVOID!!

Paid £55 in advance - didn’t even stay 30 minutes! Grime left in the bathroom, terrible vacuuming job and didn’t even dust! Don’t bother!

Very poor standard of cleaning. Booked a deep clean to end a tenancy, the ladies instantly became aggressive and confrontational when I pointed out they hadn't bothered to clean most of the property.

Barely hoovered, dust all over shelves, not even a wipe over of the kitchen worktops. A window shelf was promised to have been cleaned twice, still had thick dust when I ran my finger along it.

Worst of all was the aggressive attitude. A poor cleaning performance, but shockingly bad attitude.

Can not recommended.

Was really hoping I wasn’t going to have to leave this but it’s nearly a week and still no manager been in touch.
I booked our first regular clean for last Wednesday, we are in a new build the site still building so the dust is a nightmare to keep on top off. We found sparkle sparkle and their regular clean was exactly what we needed, stating they included inside windows, surfaces, floors bathrooms etc.
We were advised would be 2 people coming. 9.35am 4 people arrive we weren’t in but cameras gave notification they arrived. Around 1.30 I thought that’s strange I hadn’t heard anything, I expected maybe a text to say they had been obviously first time your allowing strangers in your home thought a text at least to say everything was ok. So I looked back the camera and they left at 10.05 30 whole minutes for a house clean, thought ok that’s weird but there was 4 of them so they must just be rapid.
I can honestly say I think we paid for 4 people to come in our house for a noisy and a blether. The kitchen was wiped over with a manky oily cloth sink wasn’t even cleaned. Some floors where hoovered completely missed the living room oh sorry they folded a blanket, toilets and sinks wiped showers were ran not cleans a couple of window sills wiped. I emailed on Wednesday evening when I seen the standard and was told I’m sorry you didn’t get what you expected. Everything that’s ment to be included in a regular clean is stated on their website lucky if 10% of it done honestly I left the kitchen cleaner than I arrived back to. I was Practically told I’m sorry you feel that way, and that I would be passed on to the manager. Week later nothing. Now looking at the reviews seems a common theme people still waiting on reply’s or told they don’t have a booking under that name. I’m not one for leaving bad reviews but if this can save someone from wasting time and money.

I have used this company for a while now and every time they are on point and very efficient I advise people to use them as I am a very happy customer
