Firstly the wrong part was send, on the phone, still not the right part, finally 3rd time lucky, the right part was sent, they never gave up until I was satisfied thank you

Very poor customer service and communication

Terrible customer service, had a service called arranged, booked a day off work for this engineer didn’t turn up and had no communication of this until I rang customer service, 30+ minute wait on the phone, getting cut off, customer service representative unhelpful.

When I stated I wanted to make an official complaint the customer service representative stated I could only do this by posting a letter to them and only 9 out of 10 complaints are replied to?!!! Should every official complaint not be responded to? Said they are well within the rights of letting consumers wait up to 28 days for the appliance to be fixed.

Rebooked appointment after engineer never turned up, had appointment date and now this has been changed again to a date further out. Have already tried contacting via WhatsApp and live chat but they are no better than the phone calls.

Then today I received an email asking for a review of how the repair experience was, maybe if I could get an appointment for an engineer that would allow me to give a review?

Would never buy or recommend whirlpool appliances to anyone after this experience and certainly will never purchase whirlpool again.

4 call out and counting

Call centre don't pick or answer have to make several calls, when they pick up they cut the call. The problem still has not been resolved, The wrong part was order even thought the model and all the details were given then your engineer came and took the details again and the wrong part was sent to him again going to recall and get this done again

The People Doing The Repairs Are Competent, But Are Let Down By The System🤔🙂I liked the fact that the Engineer who…

I liked the fact that the Engineer who repaired the Cooker hob did it competently and was professional in all his conduct and interactions with me.
I dislike the fact that the problem notification system relies solely on the model no., persistently failed to ensure it gets the right one, and that the system is not properly monitored, leading to serious inefficiency.

Ease of resolving an issue

Contact via on-line made the initial setting up of the appointment easy, and suited our needs.
The engineer was experienced, helpful and resolved the issue quickly, explaining what was wrong at each step. Thank you Paul.

Aftercare Service Shocking

Our Dishwasher stopped working and I thought it's ok I've got an aftercare plan. Little did I know trying make an appointment for an Engineer is virtually impossible.
Tried on the website for 2 days but wasn't working, tried WhatsApp and ended up blocked out of the App for 24 hours. Phonelines, waste of time then finally managed to do an online chat that was so painful, responses were that slow I could have washed a dishwasher full of pots by hand, dried them & put them all away by the time I was offered an appointment slot.
Engineer couldn't come out for a week, so accepted appointment even though it wasn't convenient. Arranged for time off work only to receive a text message less than 24 hours before advising "Sorry your engineer is no longer available. A new appointment date will be sent soon".
Great, lets mess the customer around even more, so now I need to change arrangements to be home on another date they decide they might just be available.!!

Well I did have a problem at the beginning but when I got the right place and spoke to a man everything went fine I have been with you for a lot of years and hope I can still have a new top loader when I need one I can’t bent to have access to the machine I have not used the machine since it has been done I hope it keeps going for a long time now thank you

Not very good at repairing washing…

Not very good at repairing washing machines had an engineer come out to put a new drum in the machine and a tray unit he turned the machine on and it started leaking he forgot to put the steam pip on so he stop the machine put the pipe back on machine was working fine he went I put washing in the machine to do a load turn the machine on and it starts leaking from the side of the machine under neath been trying to get them back out and now I have to wait tell Monday very hard to get hold of people in that company would not recommend then

Purchased a new dishwasher H2F HL626 uk…

Purchased a new dishwasher H2F HL626 uk and unlike the old one this does not have a power fail system, no heat indicator and no system progress indication. If you have a night time power cut it needs to be manually restarted. Whirlpool stated that I could not purchase an auto restart system for this unit. There are other manufactures who have dishwashers with power fail auto start.
As it is a new machine I cannot afford to scrap it, so very disappointed.

Beware the Whirlpool stainless upright freezer

Bought an upright stainless steel freezer 3 years ago- described as “frost free” and “no hassle”- what a total lie. I thankfully have all my appliances covered by Domestic and General- and boy have I needed it. I have just had the THIRD engineers visit in its short life, and it’s not even used that much. It freezes all three top vents totally solid that it makes loud screeching noises. Totally unfit for purpose and nothing like the product advertised for sale- not cheap either!

Washing machine repair appointment FAIL

You people are supposed to be repairing my washing machine today, 9.40am - 12.40pm, but when I track the engineer, it states that he is still at the first appointment?? I call and you aren't answering. I use your messaging service and get left hanging. This is ridiculous service.

Zero customer service and programmed obsolescence

I bought an oven from this brand because a friend had it and seemed happy with it. Surprise, surprise, both our ovens broke the same way (fan stopped working properly) at around the same time (3 months after the end of the warranty) and the company does not take the calls or reply to the emails.
They have a scammy warranty extension where they charge you for labour, but don't let you know how much the labour is.

Terrible company all throughout, would not recommend!

Bought a new washer dryer in June 2025…

Bought a new washer dryer in June 2025 along with a new kitchen... soon developed a leak and makes an awful noise on dryer setting.. trying to book a repair on the website for a machine under manufacturers warranty is not possible it points you to a phone number that points you back the website.. had to book repair via Live chat which takes a long time for an agent to be available... tmrw will be the 6th attempt for an engineer to fix the problems, already replaced the seal, new door tmrw not sure how that is going to fix the problem when its leaking from underneath .. I've had to had the kitchen fitter back to remove my work surface trim and under worktop lighting and will have to have him back and the electrician all at additional cost to myself.. curently have to put a towel under the machine each use to soak up the leaking water...not a happy customer at all

Repair booked,all information needed…

Repair booked,all information needed for repair,eg,model serial number and detail of replacement part needed,when engineer came he did not have the part needed on van! What was the point of us giving all the relevant information and then not having the replacement fitted,engineer said it would be posted to us; now waiting again without an oven
