Strong Foreign Accent

Very difficult to understand what the lady was telling me due to the very strong foreign accent.

Read about the problem and understand before replying.

They claim to have an award winning team. I doubt they could win a coin toss.
All I want is reminders that I need to reorder my medication to be sent on the correct date - as specified on my Home Page.
They send them weeks too early.
I reset the reminder date to the next one I need - it's ignored.
I complain - they tell me how to adjust the date.
They don't read the content of emails before sending a totally inappropriate reply.

Lazy and Unprofessional Delivery

Is it too much trouble for the delivery driver to knock on the door on arrival rather than just leave the package on the doorstep when it's obvious people are at home? Especially so when it's raining.
It wasn't found until the next morning! Lucky to still be there!
So very lazy and unprofessional and is happening more frequently.

Excellent communication from Sophie…

Excellent communication from Sophie from initial inquiry to job completion.
Nathan and his mate arrived on time even after I offered to reschedule due to the terrible weather, but they worked through it without complaint and completed the repairs and resealing of all four Velux windows to a better than new standard. Very happy with the excellent service.

No so "Smart" meter.

The actual installation of the electric smart meter went well and the engineer was very attentive. However, a short while after the meter was activated, it caused the house electrics to trip the circuit breakers. This happened again after a reset.
A call to the support service by the engineer confirmed that the meter was not compatible with my consumer unit.
Surely this could have been determined before my time and the engineer's time was wasted in fitting this not very smart meter.
I would have been happy to provide a photo of my consumer unit and the old meter which was "smart" but no longer worked with the Shell system.
Left with one not so smart electric meter (gas meter not touched) and wondering what happens next. Still waiting for replies to my emails to Shell Energy.

E-on next billing problems.

E-on next is undoubtedly a good utility provider, but after leaving them three months ago I kept receiving payment demands for electricity provided by my new supplier. Replying to their email demands with proof I owed nothing were ignored.
However........ Claire on e-on next's Facebook page is an absolute star. She sorted the error within minutes in a friendly and humourous manner.

Incompetent, pathetic Customer Services.

Over an hour on the phone waiting to speak to someone, inept Customer Services when I finally get through with another 40 minutes wait while the person speaks to their line manager.
Promise made about phoning me back and emails being sent to me which didn't happen.
Impossible to contact via email, web form "not being monitored at this time" and the "Chat Bot - Virtual Assistant" incapable of the simplest request, so have to go through the ridiculously long wait on the phone again.
All the above because I received a letter asking me for my annual payment which I paid in August.
Absolutely pathetic.
I dread to think what it will be like if I need to make a claim!!!

My apologies.

Complete waste of time. Seems as if they are just a vehicle for passing on an email of complaint to a company and no more.

They provided a unique personalised email address for contacting Resolver to enable continuity with communications regarding the case, and didn't reply to any of my five messages that I sent.
Hopeless!!



Please accept my apologies.
Having read the explanation from Resolver as to why I wasn't receiving replies to the emails I sent them using my "Unique case email address", it seems the unique email is for communication between me and the company I am complaining about.
Being a first time user of Resolver, maybe an explanation on the web page of what the unique address was for would have been helpful.

So really, my original statement seems accurate; Resolver IS just a way of sending an email to the company being complained about.
Just wondering what it resolves.....

It seems like there has been some confusion regarding the case file email address, your case file email address is not for contacting Resolver. When you raise a complaint through Resolver, your email of complaint is sent directly to the company from your case file email address, when the company replies, they are sending that reply to your case file email address.

We display the email address within your case file so that you can quote it when contacting the company outside of Resolver, in order to help them to locate your contact. We do not recommend that you send any emails to your own case file, as emailing yourself can cause problems with the reply chain going forward.

Resolver is a user-led service, so you won't hear from us directly regarding your case file unless you reach out to Resolver support for assistance. If you want to get in touch with Resolver support, then you should use our support form, which can be found here: https://support.resolver.co.uk/hc/en-us/requests/new
