Very welcoming at the Romsey branch. Everything explained. Thorough exam and issues explained. Optometrist Amaan and colleagues Alice’s and Emily were professional and helpful when choosing my frames.Looking forward to I getting my new glasses.

Went to the uttoxeter store and had a great experience. I was well looked after by initially Jess and then Tom, I shall be back for more glasses. Thank you for your expertise.

The staff are very friendly, super helpful, providing excellent service. It was the best most knowledgeable Boots Opticians I have ever visited in my 20+ years of being a client of yours. Very confusing offer (£10 eye test) from Boots. This is my first time to try Boots optician and I book online as usual. When i am about to pay, I was asked to provide a code to get the offer. But in the Boots app, the first sentence of the terms and condition said "Receive a discount of £19.95 when you purchase our eye test" (photo attached)

I was told I should read the terms & condition better, I am shocked but I just don't want to argue anymore. I read it and it said in the first sentence already. When I bring this up, the staff keeps ignoring it and said they need the code. How do the customer know how your system works. It suppose to be the staff responsbility to solve the problem, not the customer.

At the end, I only paid £10, but overall, it was a very bad customer experience. This is my first time in Boots optician and will be the last time as well.

The staff were friendly, helpful and professional from the eye test to purchasing the glasses I wanted. They helped me to make decisions on what best suited my needs irrespective of cost which made a nice change to get honest answers. A big thank you to Tina & Helen

So I am not really sure that I needed new glasses as my prescription had hardly changed but paid £521 and got some anyway. Also I was sold a dry eye treatment called Zest. It costs £150 and if anything has made my eye water more than previously. Overall not good value for money but the staff are lovely!
PS-they have since responded saying the Zest treatment isn’t really intended to offer relief from Dry Eyes. So what is the point?

Thorough and efficient

Boots Opticians, Oxford Sreet has changed. I felt like a credit card, instead of a human being. When I sat down I was told that a test on a machine to be used on my eyes was £35 and another £30, I said no to both, then led to a room with a machine that a woman did not know how to use on my eyes. The optometrist had to use the machine on my eye again. I was told my prescription went up slightly and I
need glasses. I said no to the glasses and was told I need wipes for my eyes. I said no to that as well and went home never to return to Boots.
