RadRunner Plus was damaged and much heavier than expected, I am a small female person living at the top of a very steep hill and I was wholly unimpressed with this unsuitable purchase.

I chose the Plus model for the extra suspension as I live in a hilly area. Upon arrival, I opened the manual to find I cannot ride the bike on hills with a gradient steeper than 15%. Additionally, it advises against riding in the dark and in rain. The hill to my house is much steeper than this, which would overwork the battery, and I live in the UK headed for winter time where dark and rain will be regular conditions. This rendered the purchase useless.

My local bike store would not service the bike and it was difficult finding a store who would. I almost managed to arrange a service but the owner told me an aquaintence's Rad bike battery recently exploded and injured them while it was left unplugged.

The bike had arrived with scratches to the battery and a dent in the cable. The manual advises to move the battery to a safe location if it experiences impact, visibly scarred or not, which solidified my decision to cancel the service and return it.

Though I was in the 14 day return period, the process was troublesome as I live in the UK and the branch closed the day after my bike was delivered, causing me great stress as it was a major purchase for me. I consequently had to wait with up to 72 hour delays to contact the US branch to arrange the return.

I would give this review just one star but the only reason I give two is because of how prompt the customer service was with replying and issuing a refund once I did get through to them.

Sorry but not sorry - I would not recommend!

OK so the bike itself is fantastic and for a man who hates cycling its a joy to ride.
The delivery was S**T. It came in less that the 10 days stated but the Courier UPS were rubbish. On the day of the actual delivery the UPS tracking said it was still waiting shipment, then I had a text when was at work to say it would be delivered in the next 30 minutes (at 09:30). Got home to find it had been left by the front door all day. Guess I was lucky it was still there when I got home. So 5 stars for the bike ideally 0 stars for UPS.

Seamless service from online order to delivery. Beautifully packed and easy to assemble. While assembling we noticed that the Rad Runner 2 is a quality product from top to bottom. Now it's up and running it has exceeded expectations on all fronts. Everyone wants to use it. Very pleased.

Great experience with everything as it should be.

I had a RadRunner 2 for about a couple of years and always wanted to upgrade to the RadRunner plus with gears and suspension. When their special offer came along it was just too good an opportunity to miss. My order went in and although they said delivery would be 10 working days it came in less than a week.
I was not dissatisfied when it arrived - it has just enhanced my experience of carefree cycling.

I bought my RadBike last year in October 2022 it was delivered in 10 working days. Putting all parts was very easy / you can follow instructions book or video.
Using my bike every day work/nursery/shopping family trips... its been pleasure.

I bought the rad runner plus because I needed a bike that can cope with the weekly shopping and this fits the brief very well, extremely delighted with this bike. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a bike thats carries quite a lot.

Delivery in 2 days excellent bike, very good riding position, very sturdy and durable bike with long lasting battery, I highly recommend this company. So much so that I am going to order another one too leave at our holiday home

Bought a rad rhino electric bike .these bikes are big with 4 inch wheels had to cut mine out of packaging. I was a bit awkward in assembling it as never dealt with disc brakes before so I initially put front wheel on wrong but soon got hang of it.had a problem with headlight but pim in support soon sorted it out.this bike is awesome never rode anything like it and love the fat tyres the motor is strong and responsive it's a great bike

Sale and delivery great…had to buy a toolkit to put it together (no toolkit supplied) I have owned my rad rhino 6 plus for 3 weeks now and it keeps coming up with error 21 have followed their suggestions to put it right to no avail have sent 5 emails to their online support team no reply apart from a robot response that they’ve received my email also phoned on 3 occasions met with “we are closed call back within office hours” which I have. This my last hope of getting any help (please) otherwise I’m a pensioner who has paid out a lot of money which I can ill afford and an e-bike that I can only use as a normal bicycle…maybe that’s what I should have purchased

I purchased a radrunner plus a few weeks ago and have been out on it a few times. Overall I really like the mechanics of the bike. It is easy to operate and is serving its purpose which is to get me out and about. I suffer with several chronic pain conditions and muscle weakness meaning that a regular pushbike isn’t an option for me and I needed an e-bike with enough power to get me around in the Lake District where I live. The only disappointing thing about the bike is the saddle. It is VERY uncomfortable. I feel as though I’m sliding forward on it and am struggling to find a comfortable riding position as a result. I am somewhat annoyed that I’m going to have to pay to replace it with a more comfortable one.

Firstly very easy to order on line
Delivery was very fast I think 5 days
delivery driver was fantastic great guy
My wife loves the bike shes not rode a bike for 15 yrs never mind a E-bike
She loves the throttle assist for pulling off to help to start pedalling, brakes are great
Great colour aswell

Only one issue is that dam seat which we have replaced

Nice range to select from to satisfy most budgets and delivered in a timely manner. Minimal assembly needed to get on the road. Good quality build. Not had to use the after service yet which in itself is a good thing. Has proved itself so far on our outings.

Delivery on time , easy final assembly and a great ride . I'm over 75 and just love the simplicity of it for getting around .

Great website. Simple to use. Order delivered with no issues a few days later. We love our Rad Expand 5s, perfect for packing into our campervan and heading off for adventures. Brilliant electric bikes that happen to fold. Perfect.

Bought a Rad Expand 5 this summer, my first electric bike. Absolutely love it!! It was delivered in 3 days, took around an hour to put together using the video and havnt had a single issue with it!
It has genuinely replaced my car for all my local commutes. I live in a very hilly area, and whilst some effort is still needed to climb the steepest hills, the bike doesnt so much of the work i dont arrive at work a sweaty mess. On my way home i turn down the pedal assist and get more of a work out.
Also, its a real head turner, so many people commenting on the bike and asking about it. I recommend it to everyone and will probably by a second bike for my wife.

First class set-up, great staff very helpful, a very fast postal option , everything arrived in pristine condition, and fantastic back-up Tony.

From the moment the bike was ordered online to receiving it at home has been effortless. 27th May 1st June
My Rad 5 was well boxed, all extras I ordered came with it. Easy instructions and very simple to install.
The whole experience has been 10/10

I bought a Rad Rhino 5 in 2021 and it has been a great bike so I decided to order the Rad Rhino 6 and let my wife have the 5. The 6 is ok but apart from the upgraded brakes I still prefer the 5. Now after 10 months of use the battery won’t charge and Rad say that the charging point has been short circuited after the charging cable end broke and they offered no option but to order a new battery and charger at a cost to me of £630 including delivery. I have heard of many people having issues with the integrated battery and could not recommend this bike which is such a shame after the great experience with my Rad 5.
