Terrible company, failed to turn up on the day was booked inn! When they did arrive 48hours late, they refused to take half the arranged load. They then attempted to ask for more money,
This company is not to be trusted and I would reiterate to anyone contemplating using them to strongly suggest another option and avoid these at all costs!!

Nightmare. My first impression was they went to my billing address instead of my rubbish collection address. No apologies. A great start. Charged me over £500 for a full load. Turned up in a small Luton van. It was full very quickly and required a second trip. Charged me over £500 for a second full load. I'm now over £1000 into this "collection". They did not clear all of the rubbish. I was informed by a young eastern European lad they couldn't take anymore because they were "overweight". Amazing how he measured that?? I challenged the assessment of "overweight" . He said they could take a little more. As I was pottering around I heard the Luton Van start up and saw them drive away. They left me with a lot of rubbish and mess. I went upstairs to see how they had left upstairs. I found a bedroom door smashed up, handle ripped off and door frame broken. I rang Ilya to inform him and to start an insurance claim. I was told in no uncertain terms he would not take responsibility and blamed me for not inspecting the property before his drivers left. I'm taking it to small claims court where I'm informed I will win. When dealing with a bereavement you don't need poor service, poor attitude, obvious profiteering and rank unprofessionalism. Very disappointed to say the least.

This guy makes up excuses for everything he does wrong. Read between the lines of multiple posts. Book him at your own risk

Firstly I had a very competitive quote from this company so they were the best choice. I was given a 4 hour window the night before the job. They arrived about half an hour into the 4 hour window. They cleared all the furniture efficiently, quickly and cleanly. The whole job was done in about half an hour. Two seater sofa, double mattress, bed frame, dining table and two small side tables. Would have no hesitation recommending them they did an excellent job !

The removal went well, the removers were lovely and really quick. However, getting a response from them is like pulling teeth, I've been chasing them weekly about getting an invoice for almost a month and haven't heard back a single time. The number on their website doesn't work and their callback service hasn't worked to get this resolved either so it seems as though they only respond before they take your money. I'm deeply unimpressed by their conduct in this and it's put a massive dampener on the good service they provided beforehand.

If you are looking for a fair and transparent price, along with a reliable and agreed day and time for clearance, I strongly recommend avoiding this company.

My experience was extremely disappointing. The company, which appears to operate solely as a middleman, failed to attend the originally agreed collection date and did not contact me to explain or reschedule. I had to chase them myself, after which a new collection was arranged for the following day.

When the collectors eventually arrived, they removed only around a quarter of what had been agreed. I was then told that I would need to pay additional charges if I wanted the remaining items taken, despite this contradicting the original agreement.

Overall, this experience demonstrated a severe lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disregard for agreed terms. I deeply regret using this service and would strongly advise others to save their time, money, and stress by choosing a more reliable company.

For clarity, I did not pay the additional charges requested. I instead used a different company and got charged half the price.

It was quick and easy . They removed my furniture with no hassle .

Very efficient, knew exactly what they needed to do to remove a 3 piece heavy sofa down 3 floors. The base unit was all in one piece and wouldn't fit in the lift and it wasn't a problem for them. Very careful with walls, doors and pictures. Highly recommend

This company was hired to clear a flat above mine and they threw rubbish out of the window. This resulted in the front of my flat being left full of trash, including furniture pieces, cat litter, and mattresses. They did not clean up the mess they caused. When we approached them, they ignored the issue and left the site. The front of my home was left dirty. This is extremely unprofessional and shows a complete lack of responsibility and respect for the people living nearby. In addition to this there is no way to contact them for an official complaint.

They knew exactly what to do dismantling the items, then would you believe the base of settee couldn’t fit in lift and they happily carried down the stairs! (It was heavy!)

I would NOT recommend Rubbish-Collectors to anyone. My experience with this company has been absolutely appalling and completely unsatisfactory.
I booked their service to collect rubbish from my garden and shed as I was having drain work done on Monday 18 October, so the rubbish needed to be cleared on the Friday 17 October. When booking, you’re asked to choose the day the job should be done and a backup date — I selected Saturday 18 October as my backup.
Come Friday, I heard nothing all day until 4:30 pm when I received an email saying the team’s van was full so they couldn’t do my job. They offered to reschedule for Monday or another day — neither option was helpful as builders were arriving Monday morning. Also, what’s the point in choosing a back-up date when it was ignored. This was extremely frustrating, disappointing, and caused a major problem for me.
I immediately sent a WhatsApp message expressing how inconvenient this was and requested a refund. I had to scramble to find another company at short notice — thankfully, the new company came on Saturday as promised and completed the job efficiently.
I called Rubbish-Collectors the following Wednesday and left a message asking for my refund. They eventually replied, apologised, and asked if I wanted to rebook or have a refund. I confirmed I wanted a refund. Nine days later, still nothing — so I sent another WhatsApp message. No reply. Five days later, I chased again — still nothing.
By last Friday, I was beyond frustrated. I even tried emailing their “accounts” and “hello@rubbish-collectors” addresses — both are non-existent email addresses! I left another voicemail saying I expected my refund and that I would be reporting them to Trading Standards. It’s now 10 November still no response or refund!
Why should I have to chase and beg for a refund for a service that was never provided? This company has shown zero professionalism, poor communication, and a complete disregard for customers. If I could give zero stars I would. Total scammers — avoid at all costs!

The company kept me up to date and the people that came to collect my items were professional and caring. Great value for money and I found them a company I could relate to. Thank you.
