I received a complimentary phone-call from Emily-Jo Moore who was highly supportive and it was a pleasure catching up with her after work on a previous court of protection matter.

I do however have to state that I was extremely annoyed that Irwin Mitchell LLP wanted £2,000 on account for a letter being sent to the respondent about a family law matter when I was originally quoted £1,000-£1,200 and this resulted in me taking my instructions elsewhere. I have been served by Irwin Mitchell on two other occasions and was very pleased with the service but I cannot say on this occasion that I was satisfied and was quite disappointed.

Roza Akram oversaw my case. In the end, the circumstances didn’t match the criteria needed to take the case forward (had they done so I would almost certainly have died by now) but I received an outstanding service from Roza throughout the complicated initial stages. She is an outstanding communicator who is able to maintain an objective focus whilst remaining compassionate and supportive. It is her outstanding interpersonal skills that made it possible for me to understand what was happening and to accept the outcome with good grace. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Having looked at other solicitors we decided to use Irwin Mitchell based on this recommendation, we live in Bradford and they are based in Leeds so its a local firm for us. I can say that thus far, it has been a positive experience for us. We have been allocated a solicitor Hannah Nagle who has taken on our case along with her assistant Mia Hudson. Both are very professional and at the same, friendly, emphatic and informative. They keep us upto date with how the case is going. We are in the early stages but so far so good. When they email any documents for us to look over and sign they set up a meeting to explain in layman's terms anything that appears complicated and have said we can email any questions or calI. I feel my case is in very good hands and realise it may be some time before it reaches conclusion. My dad is not tech savvy so has had ne his daughter helping with anything that needs to be emailed etc...however, had I not been on hand to provide this help....Irwin Mitchell said that they would be more than happy to accommodate my dad by sending paper copies of all documents that have been emailed and would be more than happy in arranging face to face meetings instead of meeting online. We feel confident and reassured that all will go well and we are glad that we have chosen to use this firm at was is and had been a difficult time.

We were among the people caught in the Philips Trust Corporation affair. Even before the company collapsed into administration we realised that we needed to get out. Local solicitors considered it unsuitable for them and referred us to Irwinmitchell. Although it has taken time they have resolved it and we are free from the dubious trusts we had been misled into taking out. The process was complex in legal terms, but they guided us through it and explained what was happening. The work was done at their Newcastle offices led by Thomas Wainnman.
