I will not be buying from dunelm ever again. I bought nearly £200 worth of panda bedding but the delivery date was unacceptable not only that I was spoken inappropriately by one of dunelms call centre staff. With that dunelm I have decided to get a refund if I’m going to be treated that way.
Excellent with attention to detail though but overpriced. The envelope to use for the birthday card you put into it isn’t exactly very good. You need to improve on that trustpilot

Terrible visit to patisserie Valerie today Saturday march 9th 2024 at the Cheshire oaks Ellesmere Port branch. I took my partner for a breakfast for two including two pots of earl grey. It was our first time ever and I thought I’d treat my partner. If this hasn’t of happened in way it had I would of bought some cakes but not after this experience To begin with I ordered small all day breakfast and a large all day breakfast for myself including two lots of earl grey. It came to £36.60( overpriced in my view). My partner and I are hard working people and to pay that amount of money is obscene. It would have been better to go to a proper cafe and pay much less for a lot better. During the ordering of the breakfast I asked who I know is the branch manager if they do fried egg and scrambled egg to which he replied no. I was gobsmacked. To me a breakfast isn’t a proper breakfast without a fried egg and a scrambled egg. Very strange. I said to this manager are you telling me you don’t have a frying pan. He said we only do poached egg. He failed to mention they use water and vinegar. Gross. Why would anyone want vinegar in a poached egg. It’ll be because the kitchen doesn’t have a poacher to cook them in. Unbelievable. I said to this manager I’m paying an exorbitant amount for an over priced breakfast and you don’t do scrambled egg and a fried egg. No frying pan that’s why or patisserie valiere chef can’t be bothered. When our breakfasts arrived they were both stone cold. Not even lukewarm. Nowhere near. So they were obviously either using stone cold sausages and bacon beans the potatoes etc that came with the breakfast or they just didn’t cook everything piping hot. Would patisserie valiere staff eat a stone cold breakfast. I doubt it but patisserie valiere think it’s acceptable My partner and I took a sip out of over priced earl grey and it was nearly cold. It just beggars belief. I decided to complain. I asked the waitress and the manager came to chat. I pointed out both breakfasts are stone cold including the earl grey. He then walked of took both our ridiculous over priced breakfasts away. I thought I heard him say I’ll bring you both a complimentary breakfasts as well as refund the full amount of £36.60. He had no intention of giving us two complimentary breakfasts. Instead when he returned he said he’ll do the refund. To which I asked we are getting two complimentary breakfasts. He replied no. At this point I was even more annoyed. I pointed out to him you are lowering your standards because it’s certain not at my standards. I pointed out to him I haven’t eaten now. He clearly wasn’t bothered our experience was ruined. A manager should go out of his way to provide a better service. He could have even offered free cakes to same value I paid instead of two complimentary breakfasts. He didn’t even offer. He knew my partner had our experience ruined and all I got was an apology. I don’t even think he would have offered an apology. I doubt his apology was sincere. It’s like he felt he had to apologise. If he had of sincerely apologised and offered two complimentary breakfasts or cakes to same value including full refund that would of been the end of the matter This experience has put my partner and I off from visiting patisserie Valerie permanently I don’t have an order number to proof I visited patisserie valiere but I do have proof I paid on a credit card. If patisserie valiere have any consideration for their customers they would offer my partner and I monetary goodwill gesture of the same amount. Patisserie valiere will never see us return to your establishment. I won’t be holding my breath at receiving a monetary gesture of goodwill to back up the apology from your branch manger. He said sausages are put in a programmable oven and cooked to right temperature. What about the bacon poached eggs beans etc? I said breakfasts if cooked at right temperature would all come out piping hot. He said it must of been an exception. What!!!! An exception. I pointed out to him all your breakfasts would come out piping hot. Yes piping hot not stone cold. Why don’t these places seem to get that simple fact. Bose you don’t deserve one star let alone any amount of stars. I decided to purchase the Bose ultra soundbar priced at £899.95 but with £100 of. It was to replace a jvc soundbar. In February 2023 after hassle purchasing a Bose speaker I spoke to a manager in the uk who offered me a 35 per cent discount on a soundbar. I kept the email so come February 2024 I bought the new Bose ultra soundbar reduced to £519.97. No problems in receiving it. When it arrived I realised it was faulty. As Bose use ups for returns it sent a chill in my bones knowing how useless ups is. Once I sent it back to Bose a replacement was on my way to me. This is what I didn’t like how Bose seem to like misleading customers saying one thing it takes 7 to 10 days to deliver then saying another thing it takes 3 weeks. Once this happened Bose offered me a 30 per cent discount of £155.99 for all the messing around. Soundbar would now cost £363.98. I’ve come to Bose thinking you are offering a professional and precision service when in reality Bose offers a shoddy customer service experience. You talk to someone in Belgium of all place. It’s unacceptable in my view. It just goes to show your better buying in say curry’s in the shop not online
McDonald’s seriously think food delivered by just eat is good value!!! When it turns up cold how is that good value. Not only that just eat reckoned driver was at restaurant. Order number: 617424431 A word to the wary. If you intend on ordering of boots app id think again. Yesterday I ordered against my better judgement a Phillips series 9000 prestige shaver valued at £699.99 but reduced to £329.99 but on boots you get 10 per cent of on boots app. Not for one moment did I think id have any problems picking shaver up from my local boots store but I did. To hear boots talk the item would be ready for collection today. Id of thought the item would be ready at time of opening. It wasn’t. It wasn’t ready until around about 11am. Whilst I understand that the one thing that got me was how one boots staff on customer careline reckoned it was still jn transit then unbelievably she then said literally 10 seconds of saying that it’s been delivered. Still no text to inform me. I thought what the he ll is going on here. I tried ringing local boots store but no one was answering the phone. It was only when I got through to boots advantage card a woman reckoned it was still in transit and for all the inconvenience I’ll get 1000 advantage card points. Only because she asked me how many. I’d of thiught she wouid of said is 1000 points enough. I didn’t want to say 5000 would be enough Incase she said no. I didn’t know what was an acceptable amount points. I’m not a mind reader. So there was no actual conversation she just accepted 1009 points as compensation. I reminded this person that I have paid £296.99 to which she should have said was to proof to show sorry was for being mislead by previous customer careline advisor I’ll offer you 5000. Well to say I am absolutely fuming with these people who book the courses is an understatement to say the least Firstly I will say that at least dick Turpin wore a mask when he robbed the public. But ttc don’t wear a mask no they rob you on the phone to the tune of £178. Yes £178!!! You must be wondering why. Well first time I was booked for a face to face course was in north wales at a hotel in mold. I accept in protest at paying £100 to go on the course as I had gone over the speed limit In north wales. So I was informed that if you commit a speeding offence in north walesthen you have to do the course in north wales. The ttc misled me by telling me that. I’ll explain later in this statement As I was late attending the course I accept my fault I couldn’t attend the course which was on September 26 2023. At this point I am getting worried I’ll end up getting 3 points on my driving licence. I contacted ttc to explain what happened and I had to book a virtual course costing £39. Fair enough I thought. So I paid it thinking I’ll be able to complete the course. It had to be done on zoom. On the day not knowing how to set up zoom I couldn’t complete the virtual course through no fault of my own. Ttc presumed I had the knowledge to set up zoom and how to operate it. I didn’t have the knowledge. So in the end I was getting to close to the deadline the police set or it would go to court to get a fine and three points. This is ttcs fault not mine for failing to make sure I could connect to zoom and not only that they had a further amount of money £39. They couldn’t even have the common decency to refund my money when they already had £100. So at this point ttc had profiteered at £139. It’s gets much worse. By October 3rd ttc were offering another virtual course through zoom and offered to get their technical team to call me few days before to help set up you guessed it zoom few days before October 13th for the booked virtual course ttc hadn’t arranged this tech team to ring before October 13th. I found this out yesterday October 9th. Unbelievable. I had rung ttc to explain how close I was to police deadline of October 15th. I requested a face to face course this week. They offered one In Wolverhampton. Yes Wolverhampton b loody miles from where I live and north wales. Wolverhampton got booked instantly. I was desperate so I took option of doing face to face In fu cking Sheffield. Yes that’s right Sheffield. So it was bull sh it the ttc saying if you commit the offence in north wales you have to have the speed awareness course in north wales. You weren’t honest with me ttc and you misled me. Oh by the way the virtual course on October 13th was free of charge. That’s good if you ttc but because I opted to go to Sheffield today October 10th the ttc have robbed me of £39. What happened to free of charge ttc? I’d love to know. So you think it’s acceptable to rob me make me fork out nearly £50 worth of fuel to get here. You own me in total legs say £130 ttc. If it’s not paid immediately I will be contacting the ttc to get a full refund. If the answer is no then I will consider further appropriate action to recover money that ttc is not entitled to!!!! Update October 11th 2023 I rung ttc. What a bunch of horrible evil b astards they are. They are not willing to refund £78 including fuel of £50. The complaint has to be done online. What if you have no internet and you can’t online. These people only do it to put you of making a complaint. There’s never a manager available. No because they don’t want to the public. These people are beyond evil. They are heartless and rob with impunity. I’ll be complaining to my member of parliament to have them investigated and ttc should be reformed and stop the dirty practices of ripping people of. They make me sick. Last update October 10th 2023 Ttc rung to confirm a manager informed me a refund of £78 will be given. It’s only because she’s listened to the phone call earlier on today. I’ve given one star as this site won’t let you put zero stars. Reason for one star is I’ve ordered of gorewear online and I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt at the moment. It’ll probably change if my order for a baseball cap doesn’t arrive due to this company using a disreputable delivery company. UPS in other words. Evri have got a lot of explaining to do. Firstly first time I ordered from mountain warehouse I get the impression Evri lost my parcel because it certainly wasn’t delivered next day which I paid on Tuesday September 26th 2023. Evris website kept saying parcel is on its way. In other words Wednesday 27 September 2023. And by next day it said same thing. I’m pulling my hair out at this point. It wasn’t till Friday 29 September evris website said there’s an issue with my parcel contract your supplier. No s hit Sherlock. Evri. I want to know what happened because Evri you have caused me untold upset inconvenience and misery over the missing parcel. I suspect it got lost. Friday September 29 I rung mountain warehouse to inform them of what’s going on. They sent a replacement to arrive today 30 September 2023. Hallelujah it turned up but what does the idiotic delivery man do he not only leaves the parcel in the rain. Seriously!!! Why would you do such a brainless thing. Is it because it’s not your property no you haven’t had to pay for it have you. Why should you care eh!!!! You should you moron not only that you couldn’t be bothered to let me know if it’s arrived like putting a note through. You were also to blind to notice an actual ring door bell that you could have rung which would have notified. I am not amused with mountain warehouse online store. I purchased a new jacket I paid £5.95 next day delivery charge. It didn’t turn up next day and I am still waiting for the jacket. I made sure I got the £5.95 delivery charge refunded and I asked the woman at mountain warehouse on the phone to keep me informed regarding the delivery date but she hasn’t got back to me. I hate that. Not very good communication skills. You can’t even got hold of Evri to enquire about the parcel unless you have the tracking number one evri sent me isn’t correct. I can’t believe the conversation I have just had the manager of Pizza Hut in Chester In christleton. The last time I ordered a pizza through Uber not only did my pizza turn up practically cold it also had all the toppings missing apart from the cheese. I paid £28.52 deep pan. Tonight I thought I’ll give it another go benefit of the doubt I ordered same pizza for same amount. I also thought ring Pizza Hut manager and I pointed out i want my pizza delivered piping hot with all the toppings. The manager who I thought was arguing with me on the phone kept calling me boss I told him stop calling me boss I’m not your boss and please do as I ask deliver my order in the condition I expect. In the end he said we’ll do that. Why argue with me. Why couldn’t you just say ok no problem. Jesus wept. Tue customer has paid nearly £30. Seriously what is the deal with kfc in Chester. Firstly the food turns up nearly cold. The can that came with it was put inside the bag with the chicken and chips. Who does that.
